"He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on the earth...." He is the beginning of the equation (Col 1:16), the whole of the parts (Col 1:17), and the sum of the answer (Eph. 1:5-6). I am foolish to doubt that the very couch on which I sit is not supported by His eternal nature.
I am too often the subject in a black-and-white photo booth, the one with the frivolous grin, believing myself to be something other than the picture captured on the slide-strip. But even that will be summed up rightly. That will be a grand day.
